Can’t Tell by Looking at Them

How did you first meet the world and would you
do it different city boy or country
girl all wish they would have lived where grass was
greener how would you have chosen mother
drinks and father leaves they spank and coddle
build up tear down would you look at hair or
eyes or size of toys they offer gifts to
woo you love makes better babies what a-
bout the drunken hook-up child who chooses
that beginning choice romanticized when
all of us are randomly assigned as
offspring choose a partner choose a child from
pictures sent six thousand miles would you do
any better could you choose a parent?
