Angus Woodward was raised by southerners in the Midwest and moved to Louisiana half a lifetime ago. He is the author of the novel Oily (Spaceboy Books, 2018), Americanisation (Livingston Press, 2011) and the short story collection Down at the End of the River (Margaret Media, 2008). His work has appeared in a wide variety of journals, including Heavy Feather Review, Hobart, Shenandoah, and Slag Glass City. He teaches writing at a small college in Baton Rouge.
